Meet Marty Golden
Marty’s passion for helping others comes from her own journey to health and wellness. As a child, she experienced a prolonged illness and gives credit to her mother’s intuition and the courage to explore alternative methods of healing for her recovery, and for giving her a lifelong curiosity for true wellbeing.
As an adult Marty and her then husband discovered infertility issues, and following several procedures they used in-vitro fertilization, which led to the birth of healthy twin babies. Marty is very grateful for this medical intervention that brought her babies to her, and draws on this experience to compassionately work with people in her holistic fertility enhancement program.
In the early 2000s, Marty Golden began an apprenticeship with Dr. Lorraine DaLuz Vieira-Jones, an ethno-medical anthropologist from Oxford University and a professional clinician specializing in Five-Element Acupuncture, and spent five years with her in intensive study. Marty Golden has completed over 4,500 hours of acupuncture training and experiential learning in Five-Element Acupuncture and has been a licensed acupuncturist ever since the state of Kansas began its licensing program in 2018.
She is also a Certified Zero Balancer, and has training in auricular acupuncture through Acupuncturists Without Borders, an organization providing trauma relief and emotional support following natural disasters and human conflicts. In this protocol, specialized points in the external ear are stimulated to treat physical pain and ease the lingering effects of emotional trauma.
Marty continues to be amazed and motivated by the profound healing she has experienced in her acupuncture practice. She is full of gratitude knowing that she can be of help through this work. She lives in Wichita, Kansas, has a rich collection of friends and enjoys a good cup of tea.
